Premium, Long-Lasting HVAC Parts
The part decides how long the repair lasts. Here is what we fit, and what the cheap version costs you later.
Run Capacitors
The run capacitor gives the compressor and the fan motor the push they need to start. It is the most common single reason an air conditioner hums but will not run.
What we install
We install capacitors rated for high ambient temperature at the correct microfarad value and voltage for the unit, so they hold capacitance through a full summer.
What other companies fit
Budget replacements are marginal on both temperature rating and voltage. They drift out of spec within a season or two, and the compressor strains on every start until it fails.
Contactors
The contactor is the heavy switch that sends power to the outdoor unit every time the system calls for cooling. It moves thousands of times a season.
What we install
We fit contactors with fully shrouded silver-alloy contacts and a sealed coil, so the contact faces resist pitting and insects cannot bridge them.
What other companies fit
Open-frame budget contactors leave the contacts exposed. They pit and eventually weld shut, ants nest in the frame, and the outdoor unit either will not start or will not shut off.
Air Filters
Filter choice is a balance. Too open and nothing gets caught, too restrictive for the blower and the whole system starves for air.
What we install
We match a pleated MERV 11 to MERV 13 filter to the blower static pressure and the return size, so you get real filtration without choking airflow.
What other companies fit
The default is either a throwaway fiberglass panel that filters almost nothing, or an oversized high-restriction filter dropped in without checking static pressure at all.
Condenser Coils
The outdoor coil is where heat actually leaves your house. Its fin design and its protection from the weather set how hard the compressor has to work all summer.
What we install
We use coils with tight, straight fin spacing and a corrosion-resistant coating, protected by a proper guard so yard debris and string trimmers cannot flatten the fins.
What other companies fit
Uncoated bare fins with no guard corrode in coastal and road-salt air and flatten on the first impact. A blocked coil drives head pressure up until the compressor gives out.
Thermostats
The thermostat is the brain of the system. A cheap one holds temperature by overshooting the setpoint in both directions.
What we install
We install programmable and smart thermostats with an accurate sensor and proper staging support, so the system runs longer, gentler, more efficient cycles.
What other companies fit
Basic units run a wide temperature swing with no staging. The house overshoots, the equipment short cycles, and a good part of the run time is simply wasted.
