You don’t need a trade license to open a Fireside. We’ve built our onboarding for owners who know how to run a business and treat people square, then we teach you the rest. From your first week through your hundredth service call, you get playbooks that work, coaches who answer, and a brand that’s been doing this since 1984. No prior HVAC experience required. Initial Training
Week one starts at our training facility, not in a conference room with a slide deck. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our operations team on real equipment: furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, the full line. We cover the nine brands we service - Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard - so you can speak with confidence when a homeowner asks what you know.
The operations module runs deep. You’ll learn our dispatch system, how we schedule for same-day completion, and why most of our jobs finish in a single visit. We train you on hiring: where to find apprentice talent, how we background-check and uniform every technician, and the interview questions that predict whether a tech will put on shoe covers without being asked. Marketing covers local lead generation, how we set up your territory, and the standing offers that bring homeowners in the door - the $89 Seasonal Tune-Up, the $50 Off Any Repair Over $250, the Free Second Opinion on Any Written Estimate, and the Senior and Veteran 5% discount that’s permanent, not a promotion.

Launch Support
Opening your doors, we don’t hand you a brand manual and wish you luck. Our field team works in your market before you take your first call: local marketing setup, territory mapping, and lead engine configuration so the phone rings. We coach you through your first ten jobs personally - listening in on dispatch calls, reviewing estimates, and making sure your technicians deliver the Keystone Standard from day one.
Your grand opening gets support from our national brand campaigns, but the real work is local. We help you introduce Fireside to the community the right way: sponsoring the county fair, connecting with the church roof fund, hiring local apprentices who’ll become journeymen. Named for the warmest word in the American memory, Fireside means something in a town where people still call, not click. We make sure your neighbors know it.
Ongoing Support
- Field coaching: Regular ride-alongs and job reviews with veteran operations managers who’ve seen every way an HVAC call can go sideways. They’ll spot what’s working and what needs fixing before it costs you a customer.
- Marketing engine: Turnkey local campaigns, seasonal push materials, and digital lead generation managed through our systems. You focus on running your business; we keep the funnel full.
