Available Franchise Territories
Fireside Heating & Air Co. is opening protected territories in select markets across the country. Each territory is exclusive to a single owner-operator, built around a defined population center with room to grow. First movers in a market set the standard for the brand in that community, establish the local reputation, and build the customer base that later arrivals compete against. We do not oversaturate. When a territory is claimed, it is closed.
Open Markets
These states currently have open territory for qualified owner-operators:
- Texas - A massive state with strong seasonal demand; Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio each represent standalone major markets with year-round cooling needs and real winter heating loads.
- Florida - The humidity and salt air punish equipment fast, which means steady replacement cycles and homeowners who know their AC technician by name.
- California - Regulatory complexity rewards operators who do things by the book; our compliance-forward approach fits.
- Georgia - Hot, humid summers and increasingly unpredictable winters keep systems working hard.
- North Carolina - Rapid growth in the Research Triangle and Charlotte metro areas is outpacing local service capacity.
- Arizona - Extreme heat and monsoon season stress-test every system, every year.
- Tennessee - Four true seasons mean full utilization of heating and cooling skills.
- Ohio - Older housing stock and hard winters create consistent demand for furnace service and replacement.
- Pennsylvania - A market where word-of-mouth still moves faster than Google, and doing right by the customer pays compound interest.
- Colorado - High-altitude heating challenges and booming Front Range population.
- Washington - Mild summers are getting less mild; heat pump adoption is accelerating statewide.
- Virginia - Diverse climate zones from the coast to the Blue Ridge, with established communities that value long-term relationships.
How Territories Work
A Fireside territory is a protected, exclusive market. You are the only Fireside operator in your defined area. We do not sell overlapping boundaries, and we do not allow encroachment. The territory is reserved with a signed franchise agreement and a development schedule you commit to and we hold you to.
Exclusivity means exactly that. When a homeowner in your territory calls the Fireside number, the lead routes to you. When we run regional brand marketing, your territory benefits. When we negotiate supplier relationships with Carrier, Trane, Lennox, and the other seven brands we service, you get those terms.
We reserve territories on a first-qualified, first-committed basis. “Qualified” means you meet our capital requirements, pass our background and reference checks, and complete our discovery process. We are not fast to approve, and we do not apologize for it. A Fireside operator holds the keys to a brand that has been in continuous operation since 2018, and we take that seriously.
The reservation process starts with a conversation. We review your target market, verify availability, and walk through the demographic and economic data that supports the territory. If it is a fit on both sides, we move to franchise disclosure and a discovery day at our headquarters. From first call to signed agreement typically runs 60 to 90 days for candidates who are prepared and responsive.
We do not hand out territories to fill a map. We are building a network of owner-operators who share our K.E.Y.S. values: Krafted right, Every time, Your home first, Standing behind it. That is the Keystone Standard, applied to heating and cooling. It is not a slogan. It is how we answer the phone, how we price the job, and how we handle the call-back when something is not right. The 90-Day Done Right Promise is in writing, with no arguing and no paperwork. If it is not done right, we make it right. That promise has to mean the same thing in every territory, or it means nothing.
Most of our jobs are completed in a single visit. That is not an accident. It comes from journeyman-level training, proper diagnostics, and carrying the right parts for the nine major brands we service: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. Our technicians are background-checked, uniformed, and trained to put on shoe covers without being asked. They treat every home like their mother’s. That is not poetry. That is the standard.
We answer every call with a live person, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays and the 2 a.m. no-heat emergency. No voicemail tree. No “press one for service.” A real person, every time. That is costly, and we do not care. Homeowners who have been in their house twenty years and plan to be carried out of it do not want to navigate a phone system at midnight. They want to know someone is coming.
The communities we serve are the ones where we hire local, train apprentices into journeymen, sponsor the county fair and the church roof fund, and answer the phone with a person. A company that plans to be in town in thirty years acts like it. Fireside is named for the warmest word in the American memory. We have been at this since 1984. We intend to keep at it.
