Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Fireside Heating & Air Co. team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price HVAC Work
Every job at Fireside Heating & Air Co. is priced job by job, off a free written estimate – no hourly rates, no subscriptions, nothing to join or sign up for before we even look at your system. You get one number, in writing, before anyone touches a wire or a fitting. That number is what you pay.
The reason we work this way is simple: a homeowner who doesn’t know what something costs before it starts is a homeowner who can’t make a real decision. We think you deserve to see the whole picture first. If the number works for you, we get started. If it doesn’t, we shake hands and part ways – no hard feelings, no invoice for the visit. That’s what a square deal looks like, and it’s how Glen Hartman has run things since 1984.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free.
When one of our background-checked, uniformed technicians comes to your home, they’ll look at the equipment, ask you the right questions, and put a specific price in writing before any work begins. The visit typically takes less than an hour. At the end of it, you have a written number you can hold onto, think over, and compare – and you are under no obligation to proceed. Some people call us back the same day. Some call a week later. Some decide to wait. All of that is fine. The point is that you leave the conversation informed, not pressured.
When People Usually Call Us
The phone rings hardest during the first real heat wave of summer and the first hard freeze of fall. Both of those windows come fast and leave fast, and the wait for service gets long in a hurry. We’ve seen it every year since 1984 – it doesn’t change much.
Spring and fall are quieter. That’s when a tune-up or a planned replacement is easiest to schedule, takes the least time to get done, and causes the least disruption to a household. If your system is getting older and you’ve been thinking about replacing it before it quits on you in January, the shoulder seasons are when you have the time and the options to do it on your terms rather than the weather’s.
Emergency calls happen too – the 2 a.m. no-heat situation that can’t wait until morning. That call gets answered by a live person at Fireside, every time, nights and weekends included. No voicemail tree, no callback queue. A person picks up, and we go from there.
Whatever brought you to this page – routine, urgent, or somewhere in between – the starting point is the same: a free written estimate and a straight conversation.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
The offers on this page represent real savings, and we’re glad to apply them. But the standards that govern every job at Fireside Heating & Air Co. don’t start and stop with a coupon.
Every visit gets a background-checked, uniformed technician who puts on shoe covers without being asked and treats your home the way we’d treat our own mother’s – that’s the “Your home first” part of our K.E.Y.S. values, and it’s not a slogan. The price we quote is the price on the invoice. If we find something unexpected mid-job, we stop and re-quote before doing anything else.
Every job is backed by the 90-Day Done Right Promise: our written guarantee, under the Keystone Standard, that if something isn’t right we come back and make it right – no paperwork, no arguing. Most jobs are finished in a single visit. And the phone is answered by a live person around the clock, every day of the year, because a company that’s been in this business for over 42 years knows that a 2 a.m. furnace failure doesn’t care what day it is.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, completely free. A Fireside technician comes to your home, evaluates the job, and gives you a written price – and you owe nothing for that visit regardless of what you decide to do next. There is no trip charge and no diagnostic fee rolled into the estimate. The number you get is simply the number for the job.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
No, and that’s deliberate. We price every job off a free written estimate – one number, for the specific work your system needs, confirmed before anyone starts. There are no payment plans, no memberships, and nothing to sign up for. If the price on the estimate works for you, we do the work. That’s the whole arrangement.
Can I combine two offers?
One offer per household per visit. If you’re eligible for more than one – say, the Senior & Veteran discount and the seasonal tune-up – our technician will help you identify which one gives you the most value for the job at hand. We won’t stack them, but we also won’t leave you guessing which to use.
Does the price change once you’re on the job?
No. The written estimate is the price, full stop. If a technician opens something up and finds a condition that changes the scope of the work, they stop, explain what they found, and give you a revised written number before doing anything further. You decide whether to proceed. The price does not move without your knowledge and agreement.
