Prestige Series (2012-2020): Touchscreen units with humidity control and outdoor sensor capability. The Prestige communicates over a two-wire bus, not standard 24-volt control, so a generic Honeywell or White-Rodgers won’t substitute without a wiring retrofit. EcoNet (2015-present): Rheem’s smart stat with Wi-Fi, zoning, and equipment-monitoring integration. EcoNet requires a specific 24-volt common wire and a paired communication board in the furnace or air handler.
